Penick Village Foundation

Provides assistance to residents in financial need to continue living at Penick Village, Southern Pines.

Moore County Friend to Friend

For more than 25 years, has been serving victims and supporting survivors of domestic violence, rape and sexual assault.

Moore County Literacy Council

Through various programs, initiatives and volunteers,the Council’s mission is to reverse the debilitating consequences of adult illiteracy by offering free tutoring services to adults.

Moore County Project Linus

Provides love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans made by volunteers.

Sandhills/Moore County Coalition

Approximately 75 area churches provide for the emergency needs of county residents by providing food, clothing and financial resources.

Military Missions in Action

Assists veterans with disabilities, members of the Armed Forces and their families.

Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC

Provides food for people in 34 counties for 30 years through a network of more than 800 partner agencies.

Northern Moore Family Resource Center

Serves children and families in northern Moore County, helping children in need succeed academically by offering after school programs and summer camp.
