Our Mission objective originates in the mandate of Jesus who said to his disciples, “Go into the world and make disciples of all people, baptizing them and teaching them all I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:19,20.
We strive to be a place of Christian worship for all people in the tradition of the Episcopal Church and a place where we spend a life-time plumbing the depths of the teachings of Jesus, both in study and in prayer. We look for opportunities for ministry and service in the larger community. We see the focus of our missionary efforts in those who do not yet know the joy of being a Christian, of welcoming and incorportating them into the Church, and of equipping them for living the Christian way of life in the contemporary world.
Located in Seven Lakes, North Carolina, St. Mary Magdalene is a congregation of the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina, The Episcopal Church and, more widely, the Anglican Communion.
